One continuous thread
Sunset Sessions 028 unfolded under a clear sky and a glass-calm lagoon. The trio shaped a continuous journey from the afternoon into night, with each selection answering the last.
There were no headline turns and no interruption to the flow. Each record became an answer to the one before it.
From warmth to pressure
The first stretch left room for melodic house, disco and soulful edits. As the beach found its rhythm, the groove tightened and Afro percussion, vocal records and 1990s references began to appear.
Sunset changed the colour of the session rather than ending it. After dark, deeper, more percussive club records carried the final hours. The energy grew without the day losing its shape.
Why it worked
Three different instincts remained audible, but the session belonged to the room rather than any one DJ.
One beach, three DJs and a crowd willing to stay with the journey. Nothing more was needed.
